Wash walks into the bar.

Wash suddenly finds himself about four feet closer to the ground.

Wash would wonder how he's going to explain this to Zoe and Mal, but that would involve getting past the fact that he's made of felt.

The exit appointment goes well. She has to wait around a couple of hours under a machine; Simon gets all her records. They might come back to Osiris for the followup visit, but it's infinitely more likely that they won't. From there it's a quick ride to the port, where they leave the skimmer and take a public one. The passenger ship landed on Osiris about twenty minutes ago; the rented skimmer was waiting, all the arrangements taken care of. Only one stop before they get to where they're spending the night.
